Road Closures
SHORT TERM CLOSURES (Not Mapped Below)
The WESTBOUND lane of Cook Road East, between Mansfield-Washington Rd and Mansfield-Lucas Rd in Madison Township, will be CLOSED on Monday, August 24, between the hours of 8:30 am and 4:30 pm. The closure will allow for a pavement repair project. Detoured traffic should use Mansfield-Lucas Rd to Mansfield-Washington Rd, back to Cook Road East.
Lost Run Road, between Wirick Rd and Darlington South Rd in Perry Township (specifically between addresses 2888 and 2922), will be CLOSED between the hours of 8:00 am and 5:00 pm on Thursday (8/27/26) and Friday (8/28/26). The closure will allow for soil borings for a future bridge replacement project.
EXTENDED CLOSURES (Mapped Below)
Poth Road, between Everett Lane and North Trimble Road in Madison Township, is now CLOSED, and will remain closed until further notice. The closure is due to the condition of a bridge. The timeframe for repair or replacement of the bridge is unknown at this time.
Lexington-Springmill Road, between Cook Rd and Marion Avenue Rd, and Home Road, between Lexington-Springmill Rd and Marion Avenue Rd, will be CLOSED starting Monday, June 15, and will remain closed for one hundred and twenty (120) days. The signed detour will utilize Lexington Avenue (US-42), Trimble Rd, and Park Avenue West (St Rt 430). The Richland B&O Bike Trail will remain OPEN at its crossing with Lexington-Springmill Road at Home Road until Tuesday, July 7. The Bike Trail will CLOSE on the morning of Tuesday, July 7 and will remain closed for ninety (90) days. The Bike Trail closure was originally scheduled for June 30. These closures will allow for the installation of two bridges and a roundabout at the Lexington-Springmill Rd/Home Rd intersection.
